PROFHILO®
An award-winning injectable skin treatment containing the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid in a patented formula, this treatment is a bio-stimulator - stimulating the production of collagen. Profhilo®
Prior to the procedure, we will have a full consultation to get a good understanding of your skin, as well as treatment goals. The procedure is quick. Numbing cream is applied, then the solution is injected within the skin. In the case of the face, it is injected in 5 areas on either side of the face.
Profhilo is best suited for those with skin laxity, at all ages.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you can not have any injectable treatments.
Profhilo helps with deeply hydrating the skin, leaving the skin with a great glow and radiance. It also helps to reduce the signs of ageing, including fine lines and wrinkles, as well as laxity.
Hyaluronic acid is responsible for hydrated and youthful skin and is depletes over time resulting in the signs of ageing. Therefore, injectable hyaluronic acid treatments are used to reverse this. Hyaluronic acid attracts and draws in water, ideal for those with tired, dull-looking skin.
There is minimal downtime with this treatment. There will be bumps at the injection site, which can take a day or two to settle.
2 sessions around 4 weeks apart are recommended. In some cases, 3 sessions may be advised. The results last 6-9 months. It may be recommended to top up the results with a single session every 3-6 months.
Pre & Post Care
Minimal preparation is required for your appointment. Please stop the use of prescription Vitamin A at least 3 days prior to your appointment unless well tolerated.
You may resume your normal skin care routine 24 hours post treatment.
