ABOUT
DERMAL FILLERS
Whether you desire plumper lips or are considering a comprehensive full face rejuvenation, we have the expertise to carefully evaluate your unique facial features.
Our focus is on achieving natural results that harmonise with your facial aesthetics.
Over time, the skin loses elasticity and volume. The facial bones and fat pads shrink, causing wrinkles and folds. Dermal fillers can be used to restoring volume loss and encourage a youthful appearance.
Hyaluronic Acid based dermal fillers are injected to improve facial symmetry, sculpt, contour, define and replace lost volume, creating subtle results to enhance and rejuvenate the natural features.
The results are instant and long-lasting – often up to 12 months – and it is the perfect treatment for those who want natural looking enhancements.

Dermal Fillers
Prior to treatment, you will have a consultation with a thorough facial assessment to formulate a treatment plan.
A local anaesthetic is applied to minimise discomfort, and filler is administered with the use of needles and cannula depending on the treatment area.
The procedure is not painless, however local anaesthetic is applied to minimise discomfort.
Some mild bruising, lumps, swelling, redness, and temporary tenderness at the injection site is expected. Fillers may take up to two weeks to settle.
Results are immediate, however the final results are typically seen after two weeks once swelling and bruising has subsided. Hyaluronic acid fillers are temporary and are broken down by the body.
Each individual is different, and may find results last anywhere between 6-24 months, depending on various lifestyle factors, metabolism, area treated, as well as the product and volume used.
Depending on the desired goals, repeat sessions may be advised. This is discussed during consultation. We do not typically suggest repeating treatments on a schedule, instead we advise treating an area when required, to maintaining natural looking results.
Pre & Post Care
Avoid blood thinning medication (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Fish Oil Supplementation etc.) unless prescribed. These can increase the risk of bruising and bleeding during the procedure.
Refrain from consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment, as alcohol can also increase the risk of bruising and swelling.
Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment to keep your skin hydrated and plump, which can help optimise results.
Refrain from engaging in strenuous exercise or activities that may increase blood flow to the face for at least 24 hours before your appointment. This can help reduce the risk of bruising and swelling.
Skincare Routine: Maintain a gentle skincare routine leading up to your appointment, avoiding harsh exfoliants or treatments that may irritate the skin.
You will receive an email with aftercare information.
Refrain from touching, rubbing, or applying pressure to the treated area for at least 24 hours after the procedure. This helps prevent displacement of the filler and reduces the risk of infection.
Avoid vigorous exercise or activities that may increase blood flow to the face for at least 24 to 48 hours after the procedure. Elevated heart rate and blood pressure can increase the risk of swelling and bruising.
Stay away from saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, and direct sunlight for at least 24 to 48 hours after the procedure. Heat can exacerbate swelling, while sun exposure can increase the risk of hyperpigmentation.
Avoid harsh exfoliants, scrubs, or skincare products containing active ingredients (such as retinoids or alpha hydroxy acids) in the treated area for at least 48 hours after the procedure. Stick to gentle cleansers and moisturisers to avoid irritation.
Refrain from consuming alcohol and avoid medications or supplements that can thin your blood (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and certain herbal supplements) unless prescribed for at least 24 to 48 hours after the procedure. These can increase the risk of bruising and bleeding.
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, which can help promote healing and maintain the health of your skin.
