Ameela®'s formula is designed to target rejuvenation at the cellular level, setting Ameela® apart from conventional collagen stimulators and biostimulator injections, targeting free radicals and oxidative stress, triggering and improving tissue regeneration, restoring skin tone and elasticity and increases local vascularisation for the free flow of nutrients.

Prior to the procedure, we will have a full consultation to get a good understanding of your treatment goals.
Depending on the technique used, numbing cream may be applied, then the solution is administered under the skin.
Ameela is suitable for all, with a range of indications including the signs of ageing, however can be seen as an alternative to tear-trough filler for those that would like to rejuvenate the eye area.
This treatment is not suitable if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, vegan or vegetarian, as the polynucleotides are derived from salmon, however is suitable in the case of fish allergies.
There is minimal downtime with this treatment. There will be bumps at the injection site, which can take a day or two to settle. Bruising at the injection site is also possible.
This will be determined during consultation. 2-3 treatments may be required, with 2-week intervals.
To maintain the rejuvenating effects, we recommend 1 treatment every 6-9 months.
The polynucleotides used in Ameela are purified, making them free from other components, such as proteins, which can trigger an immune response.
Polynucleotides have a high safety profile with a low risk of vascular occlusion. They have a direct action, and do not proliferate abnormal cellular activity.
To ensure safe and effective results, at Privi Studios we use Ameela or Plinest polynucleotides.
Traditional dermal fillers are made of a cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel. This gel retains its structure when injected and is used to add volume to the treatment area.
Polynucleotides are small fragments of purified salmon DNA, suspended in a water base. It is not cross-linked and does not form or leave any solid state within the skin tissue. There will be an initial volume once injected that settles within 1-2 days, and any volume thereafter is due to the stimulation of fibroblasts and collagen production.
Pre & Post Care
Please ensure your appointment is scheduled two weeks after any heat/energy based treatments, epilation and waxing to avoid hypersensitivity.
Avoid foundation or creams over the treatment area for 6 hours after your treatment.
Avoid strenuous exercise first 24 hours or hot tubs.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours after your treatment.
No saunas or tanning booths for 2 weeks after your treatment
No Radiofrequency, IPL, laser, or any other heat treatments near the treated area for 2 weeks.
Always wear a broad spectrum, high factor (30 or above) SPF.
Bruising can be helped by taking oral bromelain (pineapple extract) and oral arnica, or by applying arnica cream.
After your treatment, you should begin to see an improvement skin quality, skin hydration and texture when the swelling subsides, but you'll need to give it 3-7 days to settle. Thereafter, the bio-revitalisation and collagen stimulation continues for 90 days,
