PRIVI Studios - Terms and Conditions of Sale

Introduction

These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to all general skincare and retail products you buy from us online at privistudios.com. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Prescription-only products and our bespoke PRIVI formulations (including our subscription service) are covered by our separate Terms and Conditions - Prescription & Bespoke Products. In-clinic treatments are covered by our booking and cancellation policy.

We are PRIVI Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 13477653, of 350 Lea Bridge Road, London, E10 7LD.

Ordering

You must be at least 18 years old to buy from us.

When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging it. This does not mean your order has been accepted. Our acceptance takes place, and a contract is formed between us, when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched or is being processed.

We may decline an order, for example if a product is out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if there is an error in the price or description. If we decline your order after payment has been taken, we will refund you in full.

Products

Product images and descriptions are for illustration. Packaging may vary slightly from what is shown, but the product will match its description in all material respects.

Please read the product information, directions and ingredients before use. If you have sensitive skin, a known allergy, or a skin condition, we recommend patch testing before first use, and seeking advice if you are unsure whether a product is suitable for you.

Price and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy.

We take care to make sure prices are correct. If we discover a pricing error after you have ordered, we will contact you and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Payment is taken when you place your order. All payments are subject to approval by your card issuer and our payment provider, who may carry out fraud checks.

Delivery

We deliver to mainland UK addresses only. Delivery times and charges are set out in our Shipping Policy. If you order products from more than one brand, your order may arrive in separate parcels.

The products become your responsibility once delivered to the address you gave us, and you own them once we have received payment in full.

Your right to cancel

You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive it, and receive a full refund of the price paid for the product.

To cancel, email info@privistudios.com with your order number. You must then return the product within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. Unless the product is faulty or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.

For health and hygiene reasons, this right does not apply to products that were sealed when delivered and have since been opened or unsealed. Returned products must be unused and in their original, sealed packaging.

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the product back (or proof that you have sent it), using the same payment method you used to pay. Standard delivery charges are refunded if you cancel your whole order.

Discounted items, gift cards and items bought in promotional sales are covered by the same cancellation right, unless we told you otherwise at the time of purchase.

Faulty or incorrect products

If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, contact us at info@privistudios.com with your order number and, where possible, a photo. Within 30 days of delivery you are entitled to a full refund; after that, we will offer a repair or replacement, or a refund if that is not possible. We will cover reasonable return costs for faulty items.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Discount codes and promotions

Discount codes and promotions are subject to the terms stated when they are offered. Unless stated otherwise, only one discount code can be used per order, codes cannot be exchanged for cash, and they cannot be applied to orders already placed.

Our liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your statutory rights, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for losses caused by using a product other than in line with its directions. Our products are for personal, cosmetic use only; we are not liable for business losses.

Your personal information

We use your personal information to process and deliver your order, and in line with our Privacy Policy.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us at info@privistudios.com and we will do our best to resolve it quickly.

Other important terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms in force when you place your order will apply to that order.

This contract is between you and us; no one else can enforce it. If a court decides part of these Terms is unlawful, the rest will continue to apply. If we do not act on a breach straight away, that does not stop us acting on it later.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home nation.
