PORE SIZE

REDNESS + ROSACEA

What to expect
Your treatment begins with a thorough cleanse and hydrodermabrasion to exfoliate and hydrate the skin, followed by lymphatic drainage, radiofrequency and ultrasonic decongesting.
Depending on the skin’s needs, a gentle no-downtime peel may be applied.
Using a microinfusion device with ultra-fine 24ct gold needles, a personalised cocktail of active ingredients is gently pressed into the skin - precisely where it’s needed most. The result is deep skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime. The needles are so fine and gentle that even delicate areas like the lash line and lips can be treated comfortably, without bleeding or the need for numbing. The stamping stage can feel prickly or warm, and mild redness is expected afterwards. Your skin may appear flushed for several hours, with some clients experiencing mild sensitivity or swelling. We recommend allowing your skin time to settle and avoiding makeup, heat and strenuous exercise immediately following treatment.
Each treatment is completed with LED light therapy, which helps to calm and soothe the skin while supporting the skin’s natural recovery process.
When should I have the treatment?
Suitable all year round, treatments can be performed monthly as part of a skincare regimen, or a few days prior to an event.
I’m not keen on injectables. Is this suitable?
Yes - think of this treatment as the perfect fusion between a facial and an injectable skin booster. While the ingredients in microinfusion are fully customisable, they don’t add volume like traditional dermal fillers or relax muscles in the same way as standard anti-wrinkle injections. Instead, they enhance skin quality, radiance, and texture from within.
How does this compare to Anti-Wrinkle injections?
Traditional injectable muscle relaxants target and prevent both dynamic and static wrinkles, while the toxin in Microinfusion treatments focuses on refining pores, reducing sebum gland activity, softening fine lines and improving overall skin texture.
These treatments are not interchangeable, but compliment each other well.
Results
Results typically begin to appear within 4-9 days, with effects lasting up to 3 months depending on your skin quality, concerns, and aftercare.
What is the difference between the Microinfusion Facial and Microneedling?
The Microfusion facial delivers a customised cocktail of active ingredients (such as Botox, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, or peptides) directly into the superficial layers of the skin. It’s virtually painless, requires no numbing, and involves minimal to no downtime. The primary goal is skin enhancement - glow, hydration, fine line softening - rather than collagen induction.
Microneedling is performed with the SkinPen device, which uses longer needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production through a wound-healing response. It’s used more for structural improvement - acne scarring, fine lines, enlarged pores - and typically requires numbing, with extended downtime depending on intensity.
How does it feel?
The treatment is not painful and numbing cream is not usually required. Some mild to moderate stinging during the treatment is normal.
Side Effects/Risks
- Mild to moderate redness and swelling around the treated area is normal and usually settles within a few hours.
- Treated skin can feel tender or sensitive for a few days as it heals.
Downtime
Following treatment there may be some skin redness that typically resolves within 1-24 hours.
Aftercare
Your aftercare will be discussed with you during and following your treatment and you will also receive this by email.
- Avoid washing your face for at least 8 hours
- Avoid applying makeup until the next day
- Avoid direct sun exposure
- Avoid swimming, saunas, and steam rooms for 24 hours
- If you’re going to be in the sun directly after your treatment, please use a non-comedogenic sunscreen.
